The 'City of Dreaming Spires', Oxford is a university town with a worldwide reputation. Oxford University is reputedly the oldest in the English-speaking world, and its buildings display every architectural style. The various Colleges are spread around the city centre.

Inspired by the University, Oxford has a growing biomedical and technological community. Originally the home of Morris Motors, outside the town in the BMW factory producing the iconic Mini for the export and home markets.
Oxford is mid-way between London and Birmingham and easily accessible by train or coach. Many Oxford streets are pedestrianised and car travellers are advised to use the Park-and-Ride service.
