Peacefully situated they offer the ideal location for a relaxing holiday or from which to explore the delights of this lovely area. Outdoor activities are many with 6 mountain bike tracks within easy reach, lovely walking and fishing in local hill lochs and sea fishing from Brora harbour. Excellent links golf courses at the seaside villages of Brora and Golspie and the championship golf course at Dornoch is only 16 miles. Dornoch has a lovely sandy beach interesting shops and a well known cathedral. Dunrobin Castle with its fairytale turrets and beautiful gardens is 14 miles. The Falls of Shin (11.5 miles) where 'Harrods' have their other shop and restaurant is a good place to watch salmon leaping upstream and the lovely Castle of Mey (the former holiday home of the late Queen Mother) makes a good day trip. Trainlink - Rogart is a requested stop (2 miles). Shop and pub 2 miles.
