horizons and open skies, with ancient churches, natural interest, and historic
features.
Travel
east to the Great Ouse, and perhaps branch off down small rivers
on the way to the cathedral city of Ely. At Popes Corner turn
onto the River Cam to Cambridge and its famous University and
colleges.
Alternatively,
continue along the Great Ouse through Huntingdon to Bedford.
West
from our base reach the River Nene and Peterborough. Continue
along the river between rolling hills, past interesting country
towns and villages such as Barnwell and Oundle. Further on, reach
Northampton and the Grand Union Canal.
