Location
Base 29 is at the junction of the Shropshire Union and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canals, this base has three fleets of modern and well-designed narrowboats.
On the Four Counties Ring and Black Country Rings the base leads to the open countryside of Shropshire or Staffordshire, with an extensive choice of routes whether you want a one week or two week cruise or a short break.

Four Counties Ring:

Shropshire Union Canal:

Cruise at your leisure through unspoilt countryside, picturesque villages and towns with the historic city of Chester or the boat museum at Ellesmere Port as your turning point. Or if you want a more leisurely week turn at Nantwich
Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal:

Head south and the canal passes through lovely Staffordshire countryside en-route to the historic canal town of Stourport-on-Severn with an array of welcoming pubs and restaurants. A leisurely trip, ideal for novice boaters
Black Country Ring:
79 locks 39 hours
Another round trip with a difference, mixing Staffordshire countryside with the industry and activity of Birmingham. Plenty of time for visiting Drayton Manor Park, the Sea-Life Centre or Kingsbury Water Park.
